U.S. Divers vs Aqua Lung vs other brands for snorkeling?
Even though U.S. Divers is owned by Aqua Lung, they both manufacture snorkeling stuff. So which one is better than the other, in regards of masks, snorkels and fins? Any other brand that I should consider?
I happen to have both US diver and Aqua lung snorkeling sets. I recently went snorkeling with both brands, and both worked excellent. The US divers set i borrowed from a friend. This particular set was about 5 years old. It worked well, but over time, the seal in the goggle gave out. My Aqua lung set is good, but expensive. The Aqua lung Flippers work awesome! Great fit. Either set will work very well. If your going to spend a lot of money, definitely get one of these brands.
