Infant pool float where baby can lay on his tummy and mimic swimming?
All the floaties I've seen online are all where baby is sitting up in them like they would in a walker. I'm wondering if theres anything on the market where my baby (1 year) can lay on his tummy with his head propped up on a pillow part, be strapped in, and have a place for his arms and legs to go out and move in the water. Anything like that exist?
You can't find anything for kids that young that doesn't fully support their body. It would be too big a liability. You could always look for a Life Vest made for young children (but be sure to check the weight requirements). You might also want to look at the bathing suits with the life vest built in, but they require SUPER close monitoring because if the child flips upside down, drowning can happen quickly. We used one of these (the link below). Click on "pool floats" and go down to the Swim Tee Trainer. It is for kids 18-25 lbs. so make sure your little one is at least 18 lbs. They also have a small life vest for kids 0-30 lbs.
