Board Surfboard

i will make a surfboard, Can i use Denim Cloth and Epoxy for my Surf Board? why or why not?

instead of FIBERGlass CLOTH or Carbon Fiber, iwill use aDENIM CLOTH.

I have seen it done by a friend who used to make his own wind-surfing boards back in 1985-ish.

He would buy either trashed long-boards or new foam blanks... he would STILL use fiber-glass cloth, BUT would then overlay denim into the epoxy. He would only press the denim into the epoxy enough to impregnate the fabric... it provided a nice look and a slip-resistant finish.

He started with torn jeans, and later would buy denim in bulk and wash and distress it.
