Does a diver continue to accelerate downwards for the duration of the dive?
Struggling with homework here! Would someone accelerate? Or would water pressure keep you at a constant speed? Google is being useless.
Not water pressure but water resistance will slow the Diver Down. Even if he maintained a diving attitude, the combined forces of the resistance and of Archimedes' principle will certainly bring him to a halt.
