Prescription Sunglasses for hiking in snow?
Planning to do day long hiking in snow. I normally wear prescription glasses with transition (photochromatic) lenses- they are good normal use sunglasses However, I was told that the peripheral unflitered light from snow (my frame is not wrap-around-the-eyes) may cause serious discomfort to my eyes. Does anyone know a good solution? Any "shell" that I can wear on top of my glasses? Or is a speciality prescription Sunglasses my only solution? Any other ideas?
