ok so rubik's cube people, what is the deal here?
if there isnt one big algorithm to solve the whole thing at once, how can anyone possibly solve it in seconds like all thos world record holders?? i can do it in like 2 minutes at fastest
Simple... they turn it fast, and use less looks. The fridrich method uses seven looks at most. Using 52 moves on average, people will use 4.5 moves per second. They use a lot of intuition, but when they go through all of the cases (for each step, not for the whole cube) then they get so used to it that they will always solve it quickly.
