Who has the Best hookah? For Scuba Diving, two divers?
Any divers out there that can recommend the best hookah to dive with (not hooker; though that is of interest too). I have seen brownies; Any pros for electric verses gasoline in a boating environment. Thanks for any real life advice on this from people who dive and have used them. I need advice for the southwest Florida gulf and bay waters from a 23 foot boat.
It all depends on how many people you dive with. I have personally used a brownie 390. I have Never Used an electric rig but I hear that they are unreliable. Gasoline is probably the way to go.
If it is only you and one more person you can get the brownies 280. That particular model takes 2 divers to 80 ft or 3 divers to 25 feet. (you have to buy the extra set of regulators, couplings and Weight Belt because it is set up for 2 divers.) It costs about 90 bucks more.
If you want you can get the 390 which will do 3 divers to 90 ft and 4 divers to 60 feet. Just because you get 90 feet of hose doesn't mean you should go down 90 ft. Again it only comes with 3 sets and you have to buy the fourth.
I only used it last year because I was working for a dive shop in Miami. I used it with some customers who invited me out after i sold it to them for mini season. It is alot of fun.
