Lets Paddle

Would you let your childs school paddle them is it is/was allowed?

Lets say your child when to a school that allowed paddling, you knew the principal and overall liked them. Would you allow them to paddle your child? My sons go to a school that allows it, but I'm not sure if I should let them. We do spank are children sometimes and to tell you the truth I do not think they will ever need to. However I would rather them get the paddle than be supended if they ever got in trouble. What do you think? Does anyone allow their childs school to use corporal punishment?
Spanking is legal here in Texas where I live and it is up to schools to deside if it is allowed or not. Sorry for the typo BTW. Also I do not believe it will make a child violent.

I am kind of in the middle of this one. As a parent i would want to be notified. I don't like any non parents spanking our girls. However I do sometimes think bringing the paddle back to the classroom would greatly assist the teacher in keeping there students in line, thus enabling them to spend more time teaching. So for me, I would want to be called first, I would then come pick up my child, take them home and give them the spanking (and more). I don't think the paddle in the classroom is a bad thing though.
