What are ideal condition to ride longboard surfing. wave size?
I am begginer and got 9 feet longboard... i hear 5 feet + you should not longboard is there limit for how big the wave is to ride longboard?
Somebody gave you some bad information. When I started surfing in 1966, there wasn't anything else but longboards. And, these were not the modern longboards with all of the modern design features, lighter materials and improved fin systems, they were logs. And guys surfed some VERY VERY BIG waves on them. Look at the picture on the link, and then read a little about some of the surfing legends.
