how do i setup my bcd 3000 with traktor scratch pro?
im very new to the bcd 3000 as well as Traktor scratch pro, but i have both and have no idea how to set up my BCD with traktor SP. I would so appreciate someone to lay out the instructions in a simple manner as im trying very hard to get this setup up and running. i have basic knowledge of the bcd and messed with tsp a little, but am overwhelmed when trying to get traktor to even respond to the bcd. so any help would be much appreciated! cheers.

Below is a quick guide that explains how to set up the configuration to enable headphone cueing (THE SAME PROCEDURE TO SET UP THE BCD PROPERLY WITH TRAKTOR)
* Install BCD3000 driver (Behringers website has a copy if you dont have one (see below)) , then install Traktor
* Start Traktor LE, click on preferences, then click the + next to Audio Setup, and click soundcard. Select BCD3000 ASIO as your soundcard. Click OK/Apply, and then EXIT Traktor.
* Restart Traktor LE, and it will start ready to use the ASIO driver. Click preferences again, and audio setup, this time to change the Output Routing.
* Set the Mixer Mode to 'INTERNAL'
* You should set the output routing as follows:
o Monitor: L - Output 3
o Monitor: R - Output 4
o Master: L - Output 1
o Master: R - Output 2
* The input routing should all be set to 'not connected'
The above procedure should set up your BCD3000 to use the outputs of the BCD3000 to go to your amp/speakers, and so that you can plug your headphones into the BCD3000 and use the CUE buttons for monitoring.
you would obviously then use & connect the audio output from the bcd to go to your amp.
you may want to change what soundcard windows uses too i.e to use the bcd rather than the usual soundcard. in xp go to 'control panel' then 'sounds & audio devices' & then the 'audio' tab

if you don't like the idea of running your whole system through the bcd's sound card then you can just use the sound card inside your computer instead, as long as it allows at least 4 channels output (2 channels for the left & right master output, and 2 for for the left & right headphones). if your sound card normally only has 2 channels output then its still possible to use it as 4 by opening up your sound cards management program and see if you can change functions for the input/output jacks, i.e use the line in jack as a rear speaker out instead. then go to traktor and change the output routing, i.e output monitor to channels 2 & 3, and output master to channels 0 & 1
on my computer i only have on-board sound (Realtek) and the Realtek audio manager (accessible from the system tray (by the clock)) allows me swap what the input/output jacks
function as. (many computers use realtek for on-board sound and you can download the lastest audio manager from their website)
