I need help getting up on a slalom ski?
Maybe someone can give me some suggestions (other than buy another boat). I have a 17ft bowrider with a 135HP Mercruiser I/O that is having trouble pulling me up on a slalom ski. I'm 6ft 1 in, and weigh around 220lb. It will eventually get me up if I hold on to that rope for dear life, but kills my arms being drug through the water that long. I know the ideal situation would be having a boat with more power, but what about steeper pitched prop? I know it would reduce my top speed, but that would be ok by me. Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

If you are now running a 21 take it down to a 19, and see what happens.
Be careful not to run to hard or long at WOT because you may be running way to high on RPM's
