Are any of these snowboard brands good? Quick help is greatly appreciated!?

I am a beginner snowboarder, and my dad and I going gear shopping on sunday. We found this great "mom and pop" snowboard shop that everyone in town recommends! I have talked to them on the phone for a little bit and they have been very nice and helpful, so i would rather give my money to them than some other 'big-shot, big business' chain snowboarding/ sporting goods store.
I asked the guy on the phone which companies they carry, and he said they carry:

Hi. This is an easy question for me to answer! Get your self a K2 "Moment" board. My fiance and I started boarding 5 years ago. We did the same thing you're doing. Chose a local small shop. We each got K2's "entry level" equipment. I bought the "Illusion" and she got the "Moment". These boards were so fun and easy to learn on. K2 just makes great equipment. You'll also notice that the "Moment" is their lowest priced women's board. I know many people that ride many different brands. I've heard all their input. You won't find a better beginners board, for quality or price. You'll love it! I recommend pairing it with Ride "LXh" bindings. That will give you a setup that is very soft flexing and very forgiving.
