Name me one way in which women respect men?
I was recently brought up short for talking in a "crude" fashion in front of a women and was told it was disrespectful, can anyone tell me why in this age of "equality" should men continue to be bound by these out of date ideals?
I'm gonna need you to define "crude" here. Now, if you said the word 'penis' in front of a woman I would be inclined to think she was being prudish and outrageously contrary if she took offense.
If your crudeness include comments to the effect of, "Slap her ass and pull her hair," I might be inclined to think you should spend a bit more time moderating your mouth in the presence of others.
Fundamentally, disrespect is no respecter of sex (pun intended). Some comments made in public might be construed as disrespectful by either men or women, depending on the nature of the comment. It is possible to feel disrespected because someone chooses not to take your feelings and considerations into account before speaking. That doesn't have much to do with gender.
As to your original question: a way in which women respect men? Well, I can think of no greater respect than the fact that they don't just double over laughing at the sight of us naked.
I mean, seriously, have you ever really looked at your own testicles? Really?
