Why are the bases of my skis turn white?

After waxing my skis and skiing one day the bases start to get white patches. Someone told me that it is because I am not scrapping soon enough but I scrape literally once I get the wax one entirely. Any tips on what to do.

This is probably oxidization of the base material (P-Tex), and is caused by friction from coarse snow on unprotected bases. This is more commonly known as base burn. The only way to get rid of it is to have your skis properly ground and tuned.
